Beat The Clock: Paul London vs. Brian Kendrick- Slow paced matches. I didn't mind it as I wouldn't mind see more actual wrestling from WWE shows but the crowd wasn't sure what to make of it. The average WWE fan couldn't watch a ROH show, that's for sure. They just aren't accustomed to those kind of matches.

"Rosey O'Donnell" vs. "Donald Trump"- I don't swear a whole lot but I hate this shit. How can Vince think this is good TV? I release he wants the media to pick up on this but this is fucking stupid. How can anyone take wrestling seriously when this is on the program? This is the kind of slow and painful segments that you find yourself forced to watch just to get through the show but trust me, if I wasn't recording these, I would turn this off and start fresh next week, regardless of what was to came later in the show. The problem with these slow and painful segments is that they are happening way to often lately. If there is a silver lining to this, it's that Ace Steel played Trump (he is CM Punk's trainer).

Edge/Randy Orton/Shawn Michaels Interview- What a awesome interview by Edge and Michaels, very powerful after a night where Triple H tore his right quad and will be out 4-6 months. Too bad this fantastic interview came in the middle of a bore-fest Raw.

Great Khali vs. John Cena- Umaga comes out to attack Cena- This show would have been a complete wreck if not for the Edge/Orton/Michaels Interview.

Beat The Clock: Matt Hardy vs. Finlay- Joey Mercury comes out to attack Hardy. Maybe Joey will get a similar push like Nitro is getting on Raw.
Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Tatanka- So Tatanka wins meaning he has more upside than Yang? I don't think so.

Mr. Kennedy vs. Chris Benoit- Best match on free TV in a long time.
Tag Team Title Match: William Regal and Dave Taylor vs. Paul London and Brian Kendrick- Another good match as it finally looks like WWE is selling London and Kendrick as legit champions.
Beat The Clock: MVP vs. Vito- Time for Vito to start losing. His gimmick was lame to begin with and Vince can't possibly see him as a money guy.

Beat The Clock: Undertaker vs. Miz- Not a great match but told a story with Mr. Kennedy coming out and stalling Undertaker so Undertaker can't beat the clock as Kennedy gets a title shot at the Rumble. Excellent show, an easy A. Hard to imagine that 8 months ago, I couldn't stand Smackdown and now its by far the best wrestling show on TV.

Edge/Randy Orton Interview- Not as good of a segment as last week but still nice to give their match with Michaels tonight a little more build. This time, they take out Hacksaw Jim Duggan in fear that he (Duggan) would help Michaels. I write this as the show happens so my guess is that someone will help Michaels from taking a beat down in the main event. If it's Ric Flair, I'll be disappointed because that's too obvious. I'm hoping for Kenny as it could be explained that he was upset that Rated RKO didn't take him in or even CM Punk which could be explained that he wanted to help his fellow Survivor Series partner when he needed him. OR, Michaels gets no help and is off TV for a bit which would suck. Anyways, scroll down to the main event to see my reaction by the end of the night.
Ric Flair vs. Kenny Dykstra- Flair takes a win back from Kenny. Nothing wrong with losing to Flair.

Vince/Coach Int- According to a letter "from" Donald Trump, "Dear Vince. As a life long fan of WWE I feel compelled to comment on last weeks Rosey O'Donnell/Donald Trump "'skit'. I found this skit poorly produced, inane, lame and quite frankly not up to your standards. It seems to me, it goes on, it seems to me your audience would rather watch exciting in ring action with today's WWE superstars rather than a poor attempt at comedic satire. I'll be watching this Monday and on behalf of WWE fans, we hope that you'll give us the brilliant sports entertainment that we've come to expect". YES! I'm sure it's not from Trump but I don't care. The message may have gotten through to him that we don't want that crap on your wrestling shows anymore. PLEASE PLEASE tell me this is the start of more wrestling on Raw and ppvs.
Vince/Torrie Wilson/Carlito/Khali Interview/Segment- "I don't ask my audience what they want. I tell them what they want! I tell them what they want and then they like it." - Vince. Uhhh... no. Carlito comes out and basically says the shit .. oops, I mean the skit was dumb and basically stupid. He then says that people don't want to see skits and the lame crowd gives almost no reaction. Crowd should have jumped on that cue but they didn't. They must be so satisfied with their playoff win this weekend that had the E put on the Rosey/Trump skit, they would have enjoyed it. I'm disappointed in you, Louisiana! Khali comes out to destroy Carlito, basically telling us that the E wants to push Khali more than Carlito. What-the fuck-ever.

King Booker Interview/Segment- King Bookah (the king of the weld!) gets the key to the city before Kane comes out to stop it.

Flair goes off basically saying that he and other young guys don't appreciate what they have and stuff like that. Nice Promo, I hope it leads somewhere with these two.
Randy Orton vs. Edge vs. Shawn Michaels- Michaels overcomes all odds and picks up the win. He will go on to Wrestlemania to face John Cena for the WWE title. Woo Hoo!

Vince/Umaga/Santino Marella/Bobby Lashley Segment Interview- One of the strangest segments that I have ever seen. First, someone needs to tell Milan Italy that this isn't soccer or "futbol" so they can stop with the "OhhhhhhOHHHHHHHohhhh OHHHHHH" chants. Not that I hated them because they at least showed some passion and were alive but it just felt strange. Then, Vince takes about 5 minutes to pluck "a fan" out of the crowd and after Vince starts the match and gets beat down, Lashley makes the save. Not only does he make the save, he also helps the fan win the match and the IC title. Then after commercial, they are still in the ring and then they cut a short interview. Just a strange way to start the show.

6/25/07 Raw, Tribute to Chris Benoit, Approx Time: 2:19 hr

Chris Benoit Tribute- OK so this was supposed to be a 3 hour "who dunnit" show and tribute to Mr. McMahon but it turns out Chris Benoit has died and the WWE cancels the show. Vince McMahon is shown in the ring and basically says that that angle is over so they run a tribute show. Turns out, Benoit went psycho and killed his wife (who was very pretty), killed his 7 year old son, and then would kill himself. The next night on ECW, Vince basically said this show was a mistake as they received more information on what really happened. What seemed like the right thing to do at the time turned out to be the wrong thing to do so WWE was screwed either way. It's sad to hear the interviews done by the other wrestlers and how they mentioned that he was a family man, knowing what he did to his family. This was just a sick sick situation and I'm glad it's over. This may sound cold-hearted but if any good came of this, at least the Vince-blown up angle is .... dead.
