Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Usos- As this is written just a day after this show happens, my prediction is that Tamina will eventually turn on Santino and help the Usos win the tag team titles during a title match. The Usos have potential but WWE continues to ignore the tag division but they forget that there are angles you can do with feuding teams that you just can't do with single wrestlers. They need to use this to their advantage, not run from it.
CM Punk/Wade Barrett/Nexus Interview- Again, the WWE needs to look at what made the NWO so popular and try to emulate it a little bit. Obviously the group doesn't have the star power that the NWO had early on but kicking out Wade Barrett, who has a huge upside, is a mistake on WWE's part. One reason that stables have failed in the past is because there is no name recognition in the group and people just forget to care about them. If Nexus continues to run with just CM Punk and a bunch of forgettable names, it won't last long. By the way, what's up with Cole saying that The Nexus is the most powerful group in WWE's history? Nexus can't even hold a candle to Evolution, let alone the original DX. Not at the fault of Nexus members either, it's just how their stories are written for them that has made people think they are a joke now. Having Super Cena take them out so quickly just isn't good, long-term booking.

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus- WWE did one thing right. The winner here could only win via escaping the cage. I hate having winners win via pinfall or submission in cage matches. Randy wins, allowing him to be the next number one contender to Miz's title.

The Usos/Mark Henry/Great Khali Dance off- Waste of time. Just one of those segments that for some reason the writers and Vince feels a "great wholesome entertainment for the whole family" but the segment just falls completely flat. This is why people of my age, 25-35 who used to love wrestling during the Monday Night Wars era, has since stopped watching WWE's programming. If WWE had competition at the same time on another channel, the WWE wouldn't be able to get away with this. Segments like this is why the whole DVR concept has taken off and done so well.

The Rock Interview- Wow, it's so nice to have the Rock back. His mic work was amazing and he pretty much took a shit on all mic work done in the last 5-6 years, more specifically since the WWE went to their lame PG rating. I think he said "ass" about 10 times which is about as many times as we have year that word said on WWE TV in the past 2 years at least. Let's hope this is a sign of things to come with the PG rating. The Rock says he is here to stay. I doubt it's on even a semi weekly basis but even if it's a couple times a year with the occasional PPV match, I'm fine with that. Great great promo as he rips Cena by calling him a Big fat bowl of Fruity Pebbles (because of all the colorful shirts Cena wears).

John Cena Interview- Cena responds to the Rock by going old school John Cena by using his "doctor of thuganomics" degree. He got in some pretty good lines that certainly crossed over the PG rating with lines like "you can blow me" and "polishing my balls (bowling balls that is)". I'm not a Cena fan but this was a nice flashback to Cena's old days that made people like him in the first place.
John Morrison vs. CM Punk- Punk wins a short match as Morrison got in very little offense. Punk then cuts a promo on Randall Orton until Randy Orton comes out to shut punk up. I guess Orton wanted to "Shut the Punk up!" ... That was my joke, btw. Thank you, thank you.

Triple H Interview- Sheamus came out, only to get his ass handed to him by Triple H. Sheamus has about as much credibility as Cody Rhodes right now. I wonder if he is being punished for something he did or what because he is being treated like a low-mid carder and not somebody who is a former WWE Champion, former King of the Ring winner, nor like somebody who headlined a few PPVs last year. I'm certainly no Sheamus mark or fan, it's just strange to see somebody who was at the top fall so fast and quickly without reason. Did he piss in Vince's cup?
Sheamus vs. Evan Bourne- Bourne makes his return to defeat Sheamus in less than a minute. Man o man. Does the E realize that when they let somebody look this bad, it makes the wrestler's prior accomplishments seem rather unimportant? It's like winning the King of the Ring last year doesn't mean anything.
Michael Cole/Jerry Lawler/Jack Swagger- Swagger will be in Cole's corner at Wrestlemania for his match with Lawler. To me, Swagger is an example of a former Champion that if WWE doesn't fully believe in, then at least he isn't being dragged through the mud like Sheamus is.

Randy Orton vs. Michael McGillicutty- Orton wins and punts Curt Hennig's son in the head. Looks like Joe Hennig is out for a while. This punting thing is stupid and I'm really tired of Orton's character right now. It takes him 5 minutes just to turn around, then another 5 minutes to rise his hand to speak, then another 5 minutes to say 2 words. WTF Randy, speed up!

The Rock Interview- Video interview by the Rock. The crowd couldn't get into the interview, probably because they wanted him live. The interview was only okay this time as the non-live aspect of the promo certainly had it's effect.
Shawn Michaels Interview- Another interview by a megastar that wasn't live in the arena. Shortly after this, Steve Austin was announced as making an appearance on next week's Raw. Vince is going all out here with all the Attitude Era stars.
The Miz/Daniel Bryan Segment- Not much reaction for Daniel Bryan as he walks out. It's a tough act to follow when The Rock and Shawn Michaels are cutting promos before his segment starts.

With The Rock saying ass and bitch all over the place and then Steve Austin drinking a bunch of beer on TV, it amuses me that Vince really knows what it takes to sell his product when it comes to crunch time but yet he wants so badly to stick to his guns about the PG type of programming.

John Cena Interview- Not as good as his interview two weeks ago but I did like the part when Cena pointed out that The Rock does promos via satellite and Cena even broke out a shirt that mocked the shirt that The Rock has been wearing by saying "I Bring It Via Satellite". That was funny. Disappointing show overall. It's like Vince feels that he will lose his audience if a match dares to go over the 5 minute mark. It feels like every segment is just a promo now.

Now even though nothing on WWE TV is a true shoot anymore and that it has to get approved by Vince first, still, the truth is said and that's what matters. At least if it's said on WWE TV, there is always a chance that things may change because at least it has to be addressed before anything can be done about it. Good promo by Punk who delivers the shocker that his contract is up, the same day as the ppv, and that he plans on winning the title and "who knows, maybe he will show up with it in New Japan Promo Wrestling or even Ring of Honor". Good Stuff. I like.

Vince/CM Punk/John Cena Interview- Another great segment. WWE finally has me interested in a non-Wrestlemania ppv match for the first time in what, 8 years or so? I still can't believe the things that Vince is allowing Punk to say (or is Punk shooting with a comment or two) on TV. I can't help but to think that what started all this was The Rock's return promo earlier this year, which re-opened the door for segments like this. When The Rock cut his return promo, he was swearing quite a bit and in this segment, I heard more words that we normally wouldn't hear in WWE TV than I had in a long long time. With ratings and stock sinking to newer lows every week, what else do they have to lose? It's nice that they are spicing it up a little but let's just hope this continues as finally, I am really into something that the E has to offer. Then again, I was really into the Nexus storyline when that first happened and we all know how WWE handled that one.

WWE Title Match: John Cena vs. Rey Mysterio- Cena wins the title back from Mysterio. Okay, let's just get it over with. Next week on Raw, let's have Cena lose the title and then have a rematch in the same show and win it back. Let's do that about 5 or 6 more weeks in a row and just make him a 17 time World Heavyweight Champion so he can surpass Ric Flair and the WWE really can claim Cena as the greatest champion of all time. It's bullshit if when it does happen because out of everybody who has won the title more than a couple of times, Cena is easily the worst wrestler out of all of them. I really do wish that Cena's movies do great in the future so he could leave the E to be in Hollywood so he won't pass Triple H and Ric Flair on the title count. CM Punk makes an appearance at the end to have a stare-down with Cena as both of them hold their title in the air to close the show. WWE really should have sold Punk having left the E by keeping him off TV for longer than a week. Should have been at least 2 weeks but like always, whenever the E has a good thing going, they rush and botch it.

With Cena, I want him to turn heel as that would change the WWE big time and would be big business but The Miz is just a lame duck that I wish would go away, period. Nobody will ever take him serious because his acting is too corny and over the top. He's just trying to hard and he thinks he has the "it" factor but he doesn't. Not even close.
